Yes! It is my birthday today! I’m another year older, and, probably, another inch shorter, if you can believe it. (I don’t grow. T^T) I don’t usually like making a fuss on my birthday, but I just had to make a tag today because I’d like to also share this day with all of you!

I tried Google searching some good birthday tags, but none of them really spoke to me. So I decided to create my own! I hope you enjoy it!

I’m a Taurus, don’t ask me my horoscope, I have no idea what it is.

WHAT’S YOUR BIRTHSTONE?

It’s an emerald, which is a pretty little gem, if I do say so myself, haha.

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WITH THE SAME BIRTHDAY?

Uh, I have a friend, whose father shares the same birthday as I do. I don’t know anyone else, but if you have a birthday today, a special shout out to you!

WHAT HISTORICAL EVENT OCCURRED ON YOUR BIRTHDAY?

Hmm, this is where the digging for answers begins.

Today is the 100th anniversary of The Lady of Fatima, where Mary appeared for the first time in a series of months to three shepard children. A Beatles movie also premiered for the first time. And John Smith landed in James River to colonize one of the earliest English settlements in the US.

Today is also the day when John Paul II was tragically shot. And lots of earthquakes strangely occurred on this day a long time ago.

So my birthday has had it’s good and bads.

WHAT DO YOU USUALLY DO TO CELEBRATE YOUR BIRTHDAY?

Uh, I eat fast food, open gifts, and watch TV all day.

If it’s in the middle of the week, I only have time to cram for tests. T^T

WERE YOU BORN IN THE MORNING, AFTERNOON, OR THE NIGHT?

Morning! So whenever I wake up, I’m a year older.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY PRESENT IN THE WORLD, WHAT PRESENT WOULD IT BE?

I don’t really know. Probably a signature from my favorite actor, or maybe I could get to have a day out of the house. (Meaning shopping with an endless amount of cash in my wallet for books.)

WHAT’S YOUR EARLIEST BIRTHDAY MEMORY?

When I was little, and I once had a party outside near a lake, with lots of people I didn’t really know. It was the first time I got to hit a piñata, so mini-me had fun.

I got a lot of dolls that day. I don’t really like dolls, they can be scary, but it’s the thought that counts. 🙂

HOW DID YOU GET YOUR NAME?

My parents wanted to combine their initials together into one name for me. They had other ideas about my name, but they decided on one they liked. Which is good, because I don’t fit the other names they chose.

HAVE YOU EVER FORGOTTEN YOUR BIRTHDAY?

There are patches in my memory where I forgot I even had a birthday, but I’m always reminded of it because even if I don’t remember, someone else does and wishes me a happy birthday.
