Stray Dog by VanRah

Don’t let this cover fool you! This comic is filled with lots of action, gore, funny panels, drama, and mayhem. My only regret is not finishing this and forgetting where I left off.

  1. The Book Thief. Is so amazing. I highly recommend I Am the Messenger too! It’s also written by Zusak. While I can say The Book Thief is ultimately the better book, I prefer I Am the Messenger for some reason.
And YES, Jack the American Ghost! I’m trying so hard to get keys for that, like dang. I’ll have to check out others here too.

    1. I plan on reading I Am the Messenger some time! I don’t know when yet, but hopefully soon! I hope you get enough keys!! I watched the ads for it, it took awhile. What comics have you started? I hope you’re enjoying it!

      1. Yes, please do so when you can! It’s amazing! And I hope I get enough keys soon too. I’m doing the same, but gosh it’s so slow. Um, I’ve started Fisheye Placebo and OFR-Ice (created by the author of unOrdinary!), I haven’t had much time for anything else.
And I added a poll to my latest genre recommendation, I’d appreciate it if you could vote! (End self promotion)

      2. I’ve wanted to read Fisheye Placebo, I’m just waiting until a few more chapters accumulate so I can binge. I haven’t heard of OFR-Ice though, I’ll need to see that one. And I’ll check it out!

      3. I read it long ago *waves hand* I just can’t remember where I left off. 😅
I really need to write these things down.
I really liked it, from what I remember. (It reminded me of a video game, in a way, with all the fight scenes and everyone’s statistics about their powers.)

      4. That’s okay. I think Webtoons kinda saves it for you? Like, they darken the title of each chapter you read. And it is like a video game a bit; all of the statistics and really cool fight scenes. I don’t really play games, but I suspect that’s what it’s like.
And the poll is available now!

      5. It used to save where I left off, but then it logged me out and lost everything, so I don’t know where I was. But I have a good gist of where I left off. (It was somewhere around Sera leaving.) I could probably find it if I looked well enough. And I’ll check out the poll and tell you if I see it!

      6. I still haven’t checked out Webtoons yet (I know, I’m awful! 😅) (I don’t have the app for that one, because I couldn’t log in to it last time. It only let me log into Line which I didn’t have, and not the Google one I use.) But I check my Tap library almost every week. For Webtoons, I need to catch up on a lot like Dr. Frost, Siren’s, Bastard, Winter Woods, etc. There’s a lot that aren’t on Featured that I need to catch up on too, but I forget titles. For Tap I read the Dummy’s Dummy, Glacias, A Matter of Life and Death, Mondo Mango, Stray Dog, and a few others I can’t quite recall. But I hope to catch up! (I’m so slow! 😖)

      7. Hmm, maybe use the site. My mom uses that one and likes it. As much as I like the app, I have to say I like the desktop more myself (because of the logins). Maybe the mobile, cell phone version is different. Ooh, and thanks for the recommendations for Tapastic! I read a Matter of Life and Death on Webtoons too, but I’ll check the others out.

      8. I most likely will, I prefer the login too. And no problem, I hope you’ll like all of them! 🙂 I like AMOLAD on Tap, mainly because on Webtoons I couldn’t find all the extra Q&A stuff the author hosted. Maybe it was there, I just couldn’t find it though.

      9. Sorry to bother, but I can’t find the poll. (I’m bad at these things. 😔) If you could, could you give me the link? Thank you!!
I just couldn’t find it on the Romance Genre post.

  2. Yaaaaay! I’m so happy that you loved The Night Circus. That book is my LIFE. I love it so much LOL. I’ve only seen the No. 6 anime. Have you watched it? I’ll have to read the manga myself now 😀 And Stray Dog looks and sounds really interesting. I might just have to check that one out. Great post! 😀

    1. It is LIFE!!! It’s so beautiful, I loved it so much! I haven’t seen the anime for No. 6 yet. I’ve heard it’s somewhat different, but I still want to see it sometime. I’ve made a review for the manga, but I don’t know when that will be out yet. I hope you like Stray Dogs! Thank you!

      1. Isn’t it!?!?!?! You’re making me want to reread it now haha. And I’d love to see you compare the anime and manga of No. 6. I really liked the anime, even though it was REALLY weird haha. Thanks you! I hope I like it too 😀

      2. Haha, I wouldn’t be against rereading it! 🙂 And you just gave me an idea for a post series! I should compare the manga to the adaptation. I don’t know, I’m still thinking if it’s good like First Impressions, which is easier than doing anime reviews. But thanks!! And the manga is weird too, but I still loved it!
