My TBR box is almost full! Plus I have other books (not sure how I’ll come by them, because I don’t own them yet or they’re not on my library’s OverDrive) on my TBR on Goodreads that I need to get to.

I was like, “Oh I’ve been on The Magnus Bane Chronicles for like 5 months, I started it sometime in December, I need to finish it then get to City of Ashes.” But guess what? I blew it off again to read The Raven Boys, which is quite good, like I do when I always blow off all my other books. I take so many rain checks with books to read other books, am I alone? Someone comment so I know I’m not alone!

I always either find another book, and I get distracted by it then focusing on my TBR box, or I’m never in the mood to read it.

But I do promise to finish them up sometime, I hope to finish them all in the summer, but I may not get to… my loyalties  with books are fluctuating.

But enough about my pathetic, sad book life. Let’s do this tag!

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

Goodreads and my little box. Plus I (sometimes) have a good memory so I just remind myself a lot.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

Oh man! Here’s where I talk about my little system!!!!

Hehehe.

So, I take all my books out of my TBR box (I do this very often cause I love looking at them) and I categorize them.

I sort them into 3rd person and 1st person, I like 1st more. Then I divide them up by genre because whatever genre mood I’m in I tend to stick to it until I want to try a different book out. Then I put the ones that I’m excited to read on the bottom and the books that I’ve become no longer excited to read on the top so I can get them done.

HOWEVER! I always go against this system and then I pick a random book to read. I know, *sarcastic* HOW TERRIBLE?!

But, yeah, that’s my strange way of reading. Them there’s also the part where I blow off all my books and read an online book that I randomly found.

A book that’s been on your TBR list the longest?

ONE WHOLE YEAR!!!!!!!!!! I bought this long ago (my old teacher said it was like if “Divergent and The Hunger Games had a baby and the Avengers adopted it”)

I am semi-interested in it when I’m not around it, but when I’m arranging my books (as I did in the previous question) I am excited to read it. That’s the power of a book everyone! I need to read it though.

It’ll probably be next… After City of Ashes which is after The Magnus Bane Chronicles which is after The Raven Boys and maybe I’ll read the whole series first. But I need to fit my eBooks in there as well and other books I promised to read soon…. Ack! This is making me overwhelmed.

A book you recently added to your TBR?

Yes, I plan on reading it, I will find it and read it very soon! (*Silently thinks of her box-o-books… but then decides to put them off again* *maybe* *no* *yes* Civil War! Haha, oh Marvel’s Captain America) Yes, I did refer to myself in 3rd person again.

A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?

No words, just look at these covers and see for yourself.

Right now I own The City’s Son and The Infinite Moment of Us. They are both 3rd person, which is why I kept putting them off for some time. (The Raven Boys is too, but I didn’t know that until after I borrowed it online from the library, but it’s really good! Well, so far…)

I also own Unearthly, 1st person, but I’ve had it for awhile so I kind of lost interest, but I’ll still read it. Hopefully I’ll get them all done in the summer!

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?

The only books that I don’t plan on reading are on my Goodreads TBR (psst, they’re the pretty covers up there that I do not own). But if I own them, then I will read them, but I just never know when.

Other than that, I try not to put anything on Goodreads that I am not able to read later on.

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?

Hehe, I’m excited for these!!

There is no cover for Royal Tour yet, but when it comes out expect an Upcoming post from me.

A book on your TBR that everyone has read but you?

Soon! *scolds herself* *realizes she’s talking in 3rd person again* I keep promising that! Oh well, I do plan on reading this.

Same with this book:

I know it’s 3rd person… that made me a bit sad, but I’m planning on reading it. Maybe summer, maybe farther. I don’t own this one so I will probably read this at a later time.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

I have like a few recommendations, I plan on actually reading some of them. Like, for example I was recommended to read Vampire Academy, I plan on reading this is the summer btw. But I also have other recommendations that I plan on carrying out, there is no popular/reoccuring one that sticks out however.
