Reading on the couch or on the bed?
On the couch! Usually I read on a reclining chair, but the couch is the most likely place you will find me.
Male main character or female main character?
I don’t mind reading either. I used to just like girl POVs, but I’ve been reading more guy POVs lately. Sometimes I’ll even have books with both, which is always interesting to see.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks?
Salty. I like to eat a lot of chips or leftover food. I like sweets too, but I just don’t eat them as much now.
Trilogies or quartets?
Trilogies, because I don’t always like longer series. Sometimes I feel like the plot just drags on, and so I like shorter series.
First person POV or third POV?
Either, but mainly third. It’s hard to explain, but I tend to like a character in third person because I feel like I can know them more by their actions. First person POVs have a chance at being over dramatic sometimes. It’s just something that I’ve noticed with the characters. (I didn’t really explain it well, but I think you get the gist.)
Reading at night or in the morning?
I read more at night because, oddly, I feel like I retain more at night. I can read during the morning, but I usually sleep through it. 😅
Libraries or bookstores?
I love bookstores, but I’m starting to appreciate libraries a lot more. Books are free, and there’re resources for you to use.
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
I like to laugh, so I would try to grab any YA/Manga comedy that I could find.
Black book covers or white covers?
Black because it doesn’t stain as much. I don’t like putting books in my backpack because I’m afraid that it’ll get pencil markings.
Character driven or plot driven?
I talk about plot a lot, but I prefer characters any day. A book is likable because of the characters that we read about, and they make a large impression on us. So it’s important to have a good book with good characters.
I’m lazy again, so this will be a freebie for everyone! 😀
